Great British (Virtual) Pub Quiz [POSTPONED]

In respect of Blackout Tuesday, we have decided to reschedule the Great British (Virtual) Pub Quiz this evening. We apologize for the late notification.

The quiz will now take place on Tuesday 9th June at 6:30pm.

We encourage members of our community to join millions in educating themselves and participating in the conversations about racial inequality in the United States. There are a plethora of books, podcasts and movies listed here. Additionally for parents, we recommend this list of 31 children’s books to guide conversations about race and racism at this link.

The “blackout” today isn't about silencing or covering the reality of what is happening in communities across the nation. Please keep sharing stories, keep talking about these issues and keep fighting for what is right.

St. George's Society proudly stands with the Black community, our community—our beneficiaries, scholars, members and partners—in the fight against racism and injustice.

Be safe, and we look forward to having you join us next week.

We’re going virtual!

Think you know it all ? Join St. George’s Society for our virtual pub quiz!

We may not be in The Churchill pub for this as usual, but we'll be channeling Blitz spirit and following Winston's own counsel to 'never give in, never, never, never, never'.

Regular quizmaster, Charles Arrowsmith, will be hosting the evening and we hope to see you there. B.Y.O.B!

All are welcome!

Registrants will receive a Zoom link with further preparation details within 24 hours prior to the quiz.

Participants are asked to make a donation of $10 per person upon registration to help support the Society and our beneficiaries during this difficult time.

Registration for Pub Quiz is now closed.

If you have any questions, please contact us at hello@stgeorgessociety.org.
